Rabeya & Rashid Miah Memorial Complex

The education, health & pecuniary conditions of the inhabitants of the village in, and around, my birth place are bad, if not primitive.
For the local inhabitants to have a better life and to raise their living standards, I felt strongly to help these villagers in establishing the following facilities:

  1. Primary Health Care Centre
  2. Computer Training Centre
  3. Pre-Primary Children Learning and Play Centre
  4. Adult Learning Centre : Women
  5. Adult Learning Centre : Men
  6. Multi-Purpose High School and College

Primary Health Care Centre
The Primary Health Care Centre was established in April 2017 and named after my late father: Rashid Miah Primary Health Care Centre,
and has been running since then.
Patients do not pay any doctor’s fee and basic medicines are free.

Computer Training Centre
The Computer Training Centre was established in July 2018 and named after my late second sister, Rashida Haq Computer Training Centre.
The Bangladesh Technical Education Board approved the Centre for awarding Diploma. A nominal entry fee is charged.

Pre-Primary Children Learning and Play Centre
The Pre-Primary Children Learning and Play Centre was established in July 2018 and it was operating successfully until March 2020, from when it was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Pre-Primary Children Learning and Play Centre has commenced again, from the first week of January 2022.
At the moment, there are 20 enthusiastic children from the age of three-and-half to six years in the class, and the class size is expected to grow to over 70 children.

Adult Literacy Centre for Women
The Adult Literacy Centre for Women was established in July 2018 and named after my late eldest sister: Rowshan Ara Khaleque Centre.
The Centre was closed from mid-2020 up to this date, due to COVID-19. It will be opened in March 2022. There is no fee and attendance is free.

High School, Technical High School and Vocational School:
A two story building with floor area of approximately 15,000- square feet had been constructed and completed in December 2021.
Rashid Miah Primary Health Care Centre and Rashida Haq Computer Training Centre have already been shifted to this building from temporary accommodation.
From 02 January 2022, classes for Year 6, 7 and 8 (Middle School) had commenced.
The Technical High School and Vocational School will be open in 2023.


Donation to very Poor Villagers
I have donated lamb and goat to a few villagers so that they could raise them and their offspring, and improve their pecuniary condition.
This project is known as Goat and Lamb Project.
This project will be expanded in 2023.
